DIY: easy peasy personalised glasses

I can spend hours looking at DIY projects in magazines and blogs but when it comes round to actually making things, I'm not very good at it. Somehow my attempts never quite look like what it's supposed to, but I still try anyway. For a friend's birthday recently I decided to personalise some shooter glasses for her. They weren't the best but they weren't too shabby either, so I thought I'd share this really simple way to make something your own.

Here are the original glasses

All you have to do is draw on them with a paint marker and it's pretty much a permanent thing. You can get paint markers from stationery shops (I think) or you can just date an art student and borrow what they have (what I did).

Because the marker above was really fat and not suitable for writing on the tiny glasses, I made cardboard stencils and filled those in.

And this was the result...
K for Kelina, the birthday girl.
21 because that's how old she is.
And hearts, because I love her to bits.
